Why Attendance Must Be Processed:
Once clockings from all sources–such as biometric devices, mobile apps, manual entries, or attlog files–are recorded in bitKode, they must be processed.
This step is essential because it allows the system to compare the recorded clockings against each employee’s schedule in order to accurately calculate:
- Attendance
- Break durations
- Overtime
- Short hours
- Any discrepancies, such as missing or extra clockings
Processing ensures that all attendance data is validated and ready for Payroll and reporting purposes.
